A Manchester man died after he car went off Route 101 westbound Wednesday morning and flipped onto its roof.

New Hampshire State Police the driver of a 2011 Cadillac CTS sedan lost control near Exit 3 (Route 43) in Auburn and went into the woods. The vehicle landed on its roof. The driver, Ronald Trouville, 43, was pronounced dead at the scene after being extricated. A passenger was ejected and taken to Eliot Hospital for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing, but driver fatigue and impairment may be contributing factors to the crash, according to State Police.

One lane was closed westbound for about two hours, creating large delays.
