Man Runs Through Rochester, NH IHOP to Avoid Arrest, Cops Say
A man was arrested Sunday afternoon in Rochester after allegedly trying to get away from police by running through a restaurant and into the woods.
Chad J. Dandeneau, 47, was spotted by a Rochester police officer in the parking lot of the Rochester Crossing shopping center on Washington Street in Rochester around 1:35 p.m. Dandeneau parked in front of the IHOP and got out and walked towards the restaurant, according to police.

When Dandeneau noticed police he made a run for it on foot through the IHOP, out the back door and into the woods. Police chased Dandeneau and apprehended him without incident.
Dandeneau was charged with resisting arrest/detention and driving after suspension – from Sunday's incident. He was formally charged from the earlier incident on June 14 including reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, disobeying an office and driving after a suspension
He also faces a list of previous charges including fugitive from justice in the state of Maine and three bench warrants from Seabrook.
Dandeneau refused bail and will be arraigned on Tuesday.
