A man wanted in connection with a fatal stabbing in Boston was arrested Thursday night in Madbury.

Derrell Sanford, 26, was charged as a fugitive from justice in connection with the stabbing of Ricardo Garcia, 34, in the Roxbury section of Boston on August 8.

Boston Police said Sanford, 26, of Boston was arrested in Madbury while Karonn Brown, 49, was arrested at the same time at his Mattapan, Massachusetts home. An adult male was also arrested in Boston in connection with the case on August 11, according to Boston Police.

All three will be charged with murder, according to Boston Police. Police did not disclose the circumstances of the stabbing or the relationship between the victim and the suspects.

The US Marshals – New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force said Sanford was arrested without incident by the Task Force, Madbury Police and Boston Police along with ATF, and deputy US Marshals. Madbury Police is part time force.

The Task Force did not disclose why Sanford was in Madbury.

Sanford is being held at the Strafford County Jail pending his court hearings and a return to Massachusetts.
