The winning Mega Millions jackpot was not sold in New England, but there was one large winning ticket sold in New Hampshire.

The numbers drawn Friday night were: 13-36-45-57-67, gold ball 14, and Megaplier 2X.

The jackpot reached an annuity value of $1.28 billion, with a cash value of $747.2 million just before the drawing. It was the second largest jackpot ever offered by Mega Millions.

There was one winning ticket sold in Illinois. But New Hampshire still got lucky in Friday's drawing.

A ticket that matched the five white ball numbers worth $1 million was sold at a Market Basket in Salem, lottery spokeswoman Maura McCann told Seacoast Current.

Two tickets matching four white balls and the gold ball worth $10,000 each were sold at  Shaw's supermarket on Lafayette Road in Hampton and the Circle K store in Tilton. The ticket played in Tilton added the Megaplier, making it worth $20,000.

The numbers were drawn at 11 p.m. Friday night, but official results were not posted on the Mega Millions website for another nine hours. McCann said there is a checks and balance system in place among all the states participating in Mega Millions that likely held up official results from being posted.

The Mega Millions jackpot had not been won since April and was building through 29 drawings since.

A ticket worth $1 million during the run-up was sold for the July 19 drawing at the NH state Liquor & Wine Outlet on the Portsmouth Traffic Circle. It was purchased by a woman from Colorado who went to the Ambetter 301 NASCAR race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon.
