The winning ticket was sold at Stop & Shop located at 40 George Hannum Street in western Massachusetts.

A single ticket was sold at Hometown Gas & Grill in Lebanon, Maine for the Mega Millions drawing of January 13 with an annuity value of $1.35 billion ($724.6 million cash). It was Maine's first Mega Millions or Powerball jackpot winner ever and the second highest jackpot ever won in the United States.

No one has come forward publicly as the winner yet. The ticket holder has a year to claim their prize.

Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot was the third won in the Bay State since 2002. It's also the first time first time any month has had more than two jackpot wins since Mega Millions changed its matrix at the end of October 2017.
