Power should be restored late Monday night for Unitil customers in South Hampton following a crash that took out a utility pole.

South Hampton Police said a red pickup truck with "Amesbury Public Schools" on the side was towing a trailer when it went off Main Avenue and into the pole, snapping it at the base.

Unitil said around 200 customers are affected.

A thunderstorm cell headed west could interrupt repairs due to safety concerns.

The driver of the truck was okay, according to police, who did not disclose what led to the crash.
