Work begins Wednesday on a bridge on Route 152 in Lee that will reduce traffic to one alternating lane.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation said the two month project on the Wadleigh Falls Road bridge over the Lamprey River starts Wednesday.  The lane closure will be in effect between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. with flaggers controlling traffic. Steel plates will be put in place when work is not taking place.

The project is to complete repairs to the northern bridge abutment and joint.
