Second Arrest Made in Dover, New Hampshire Home Burglary
A second arrest has been made in connection to an alleged home burglary that took place in Dover last week.
Dominic J. Archambault, 28, of Milton, New Hampshire, is the second individual to be charged with the burglary of a Sandy Lane home after suspicious footprints were found in the snow outside the residence, according to the Dover Police Department.
In the initial release, police alleged that Michael J. Skidmore, 33, of Dover, broke into and burglarized the home. Officers said they spoke with residents of the home on Friday who said they discovered suspicious footprints in the snow the following morning.
Neighbors also allegedly told police they witnessed a suspicious vehicle that had been pulling into several neighborhood driveways on Friday, the release said, adding that neighborhood residents were able to provide a description of the vehicle.
Skidmore was arrested on February 1, per police.
Archambault, however, was not arrested until Tuesday as a result of Dover police's continued investigation into the alleged burglary. Archambault was arrested at his workplace in Somersworth, police said, and was charged with one count of burglary, which is a felony.
According to police, Archambault refused bail and was scheduled to be arraigned at Strafford County Superior Court on Wednesday at 12 p.m.
