Strafford County, NH Inmate Charged With Hitting Man in Jail
An inmate who was being held at Strafford County House of Corrections in Dover faces up to seven years in prison after he allegedly hit a man at the jail.
Andrew Sajko, 27, of Milton, is charged with assault by prisoner, a Class B felony.
Prosecutors say that on Jan. 9, Sajko hit T.J. McGlone in the head, causing bruising to his face.
An official at the jail said on Wednesday morning that Sajko is no longer in their official custody.
Sajko was indicted on the charge July 15 at Strafford County Superior Court in Dover. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Aug. 19, according to court records.
