VIDEO: Fireworks Dangerousness With NH State Police Bomb Squad

State safety officials are reminding people that fireworks can be dangerous.

On Thursday, there was a live demonstration in Loudon at a sand pit. Department of Safety Commissioner Robert Quinn said they understand people want to celebrate, but they want everyone to be safe.

"My message is simple. I want everyone to be safe this Fourth of July and enjoy the day and the evening," Quinn said.

Quinn said people need to use permissible fireworks safely.
