💲 The 70 remaining Christmas Tree Shops are holding liquidation sales

💲 Everything is 50% off

💲 The chain has not disclosed when the liquidation sale ends

As the Christmas Tree Shops wind down their operations, you've got less than two weeks to use your gift cards, but there will be new merchandise to use them on.

The 70 remaining stores are in the process of liquidating their inventory after defaulting on a loan that was part of a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing. So far, a buyer has not come forward willing to buy some or all of the chain that started on Cape Cod in the 1950s.

Court documents show that the final day the stores will accept gift cards is Friday, July 21.

Hilco Merchant Resources, the company managing the liquidation sale, said all merchandise is 50% off the lowest ticketed price, including holiday items and decor.

New merchandise will be arriving at stores during the liquidation. All sales are final.

Select fixtures, furnishings, and equipment will also be available for sale in closing locations.

The chain has not disclosed when the liquidation sale ends.
