A three-vehicle crash that killed a person Tuesday on Interstate 95 shut down traffic for hours as an investigation took place.

Officials at New Hampshire State Police put out a warning that both the northbound and southbound sides of the highway were affected at 12:27 p.m. in Hampton Falls.

At 2:45 p.m., there were still three lanes on the southbound side of the highway that were closed.

Dispatchers at Troop A in Epping said a press release will be issued.
