Summer is certainly flying by! Have you and your family made your annual pilgrimage to OOB yet? Old Orchard Beach has a population of about 9000 that swells to over 75,000 during the summer. And if you didn't get your OOB "arcade-beach-bars-shopping-eating-pier fries-pizza-swimming-sunbathing-bumper car-Palace-Playland" vibe last summer because of the pandemic, then make sure to get back this summer!!
We found this old 8mm film of a family trip to OOB from the 1960s. You had the Pier, Jack and Jill slide, Noah's Ark, Coal Mine, and many other fun attractions. Some parts of Old Orchard Beach are pretty different than today, but much feels the same!
