
Man Gets Away With Cash in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Bank Robbery
Police are looking for a man who robbed a bank on Islington Street in Portsmouth Saturday morning.
The man wearing a black mask entered the Bank of America branch around 10:15 a.m., demanded cash. He said he had a weapon but did not show it, and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Portsmouth police were assisted by State Police and the FBI in their investigation.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5'8 to 5'10. He was wearing a black winter hat and sunglasses.
Police asked anyone who can identify the suspect to call 603 610-7511 or leave an anonymous tip through Seacoast Crime Stoppers by calling 603-431-1199.
