Man Robs Newington, New Hampshire, Bank at Knifepoint
Police released images Thursday of the suspect in the robbery of a TD Bank in Newington, and the vehicle he was driving.
The man walked into the bank on Woodbury Avenue around 4:23 p.m. and demanded all the cash a teller had in their drawer after showing a knife, according to Newington Police Chief Michael Bilodeau. He left the bank with $1,000 in cash and drove off in a Jeep Grand Cherokee headed north on Woodbury Avenue.
The suspect is described by witnesses as 5 feet 11 inches, wearing dark clothing and a partial mask.
The Jeep is gray with a New Hampshire license plate, but the numbers and letters could not be made out by witnesses.
The FBI and New Hampshire State Police are assisting with the investigation.
Bilodeau asked anyone with information about the robbery to call 603-431-5461.
