🚨 A motorcycle and car collided in Rochester Saturday evening

🚨 It's at least the 12th fatal motorcycle crash in New Hampshire this year


A motorcyclist died following a crash with a car on Main Street in Rochester Saturday evening.

Rochester Police said the crash occurred at the intersection with Portland Avenue around 7:40 p.m. near the former Royals Pizza. The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital where they were pronounced dead. The driver of the car was also seriously injured.

The circumstances of the crash and the identities of the drivers were not disclosed, pending notification of family.

The road was closed for several hours Saturday night.

The crash was at least the twelfth fatal motorcycle crash in New Hampshire this year. A motorcyclist was killed just over the border in Lebanon, Maine, in a head-on crash with a Jeep on August 5.
