NH Traffic Alert: Spaulding Turnpike to Temporarily Close Tuesday

The Spaulding Turnpike will close early Tuesday afternoon to allow for further investigation of Monday afternoon's fatal crash.

The highway will be closed in both directions between Exit 6 (Routes 9 and 108) in Dover and Exit 7 (Route 125) in Rochester between noon and 2 p.m.

New Hampshire State Police will complete their investigation of the crash that claimed the life of the driver of a northbound 2022 Acura when it was hit by a tractor-trailer that jumped the guardrail from the southbound lanes.

Drivers will be diverted off at the exits to use Routes 4 and 108 to rejoin the Spaulding Turnpike.

State Police have not disclosed the identity of the driver who died in the crash.
