New Hampshire Woman Nearly Hit in Face With a Metal Spike Through Windshield
A New Hampshire woman narrowly escaped injury when a sharp metal object shot through the driver's side of her Jeep on the Maine Turnpike Tuesday morning.
Maine State Police spokeswoman Shannon Moss said the 21-year-old woman from Litchfield was driving a red Jeep southbound in Gray when another vehicle kicked up a piece of metal into the air. The metal landed just inches from her face.
The woman's identity was not disclosed.
Moss said the woman was checked over by paramedics and suffered only a minor injury.
