A Rochester man under the influence of drugs lost control of his car on the Spaulding Turnpike late Tuesday night, slamming into a guard rail and spreading debris all over the roadway, according to New Hampshire State Police.

Marshall L. Stansbury, 19, was heading south on Route 16 driving a 2012 Subaru Legacy and went to the left on a right curve around Exit 9 (Route 9) in Dover around 11:50 p.m. The car hit the guardrail and spun around several times before hitting the guardrail a second time, causing damage.
