🚨 The pickup truck was going the wrong way of an on-ramp onto the Spaulding Turnpike

🚨 The driver may have suffered a medical episode

A wrong-way driver was killed when his pickup went off an on-ramp early Thursday morning.

New Hampshire State Police said Michael Riley, 55, of Sanbornville was driving a 2022 GMC Sierra 500 the wrong way on the ramp from Exit 18 (Route 125) to the northbound Spaulding Turnpike in Milton around 1:35 a.m.

He went off the roadway and down an embankment, coming to a stop approximately 300 feet in the woods away from he ramp.  Riley was pronounced dead at the crash scene.

A medical episode may have been a contributing factor, according to State Police.  No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
