Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Man Wanted in Smashed Out Newmarket Windshields
🚨 Several windshields were smashed Sunday afternoon and late Tuesday night
🚨 A silver Ford Escape was present at each incident, the victims told police
🚨 Two Newmarket police vehicles were also vandalized
A warrant was issued Friday for a Portsmouth man suspected of smashing out the windows of multiple parked cars in Newmarket, including police vehicles.
The first incidents happened Sunday afternoon within 10 minutes of each other, according to Newmarket Police. All the reports involved a similar description of a 2018 silver Ford Escape. Several additional incidents occurred late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.
Rocks were used in the attacks, Lt. Wayne Stevens told WMUR. Two Newmarket police vehicles were vandalized Thursday night.
Newmarket Police issued a warrant for the arrest of Travis J. Mosley, 23, of Portsmouth, who drives a 2018 silver Ford Escape with NH license plate 5267413. His image was picked up in video footage from several of the attacks.
Stevens told WMUR that Mosley knows the owners of the damaged cars. Briana Saulnier, whose back window was smashed, told NBC Boston she knows Mosley, but does not feel safe in the home she shares with a roommate.
Police asked anyone with information about these incidents to call them at 603-659-6636.
