A motor vehicle in the median of Interstate 95 in North Hampton has created major delays in both directions.

New Hampshire State Police said three left lanes were closed north of the Hampton tolls and a left lane southbound were closed. Traffic was heavy in both directions with a rubbernecking delay. Southbound traffic was easing  after 4 p.m..

The driver got themselves out of the vehicle and suffered only minor injuries, State Police told Seacoast Current.

A blue SUV appeared to be completely engulfed in flames by the fire, sending thick black smoke into the air according to a picture posted in the comments of the Rockingam Alert Facebook page.
