Five people were hurt Friday evening when the UTV they were riding rolled over in Hampton Falls.

William Wagner, 18, of Hampton Falls was driving the UTV on Exeter Road around 7 p.m. and hit a rock while making a left turn, according to New Hampshire Fish & Game's Law Enforcement Division. The vehicle rolled and four passengers were thrown. Two passengers were riding in the UTV's open bed.

Two of the passengers were taken to Exeter Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, according to Fish & Game. No one was wearing a helmet or a seatbelt. Fish & Game recommended their use although it is not legally required

Fish & Game said that off-highway recreational operators should be aware of conditions where they are operating.
