Another Seacoast community will try its hand at fireworks on New Year's Eve.

The Hampton Beach Village District announced on its Facebook page that it has scheduled a display to ring in the new year at 8 p.m., weather permitting. The display will held beside the ocean at the top of B & C Streets.

"We can only hope for clear skies that night, at least until the fireworks fly above. At least we can try," the organization wrote on its Facebook page.

The New Year's display was canceled the past two years due to weather, and a decision was made earlier in the year to not try again. But the group decided to attempt it again after all, as they explained in the comments section of a Facebook post.

Pro Portsmouth's First Night Portsmouth will also fire off a display on New Year's Eve at South Mill Pond starting at 7:30 p.m.
