Plaistow, New Hampshire, Police: No Shots Fired Outside Restaurant

🔴 "There are no suspects that fled on foot nor numerous suspects in custody," police said in a statement.

Despite social media reports, Plaistow Police said no shots were fired outside Grumpy's Bar & Grill Monday night.

Police responded to the restaurant on the southbound side of Route 125 and said a man was briefly detained and released following reports from customers who said they heard three or four shots fired. The surrounding businesses and neighborhoods were checked and showed no indication of a gun being fired or danger to the public.

"There are no suspects that fled on foot, nor numerous suspects in custody," police said in a statement.

Grumpy's on its Facebook page said that the man who was questioned by police carries a gun, but was not inside when the shots were thought to have been fired. No casings were found outside, according to the post.
