Reported Plaistow, New Hampshire, Home Burglary Gets Large Police Response
Police from several towns responded to the report of a burglary at a home in Plaistow Friday morning.
The owner of the home on Maple Avenue called 911 after their home security system notified them of a break-in, according to Plaistow Police Chief John J. Santoro. The resident was watching the suspects inside the home via an app. Atkinson, Hampstead, and Newton Police helped Plaistow in surrounding the home and trying to get the suspects to come out.
WMUR reported that Southern New Hampshire Special Operations was also called to the scene. It is a special weapons and tactics team that responds to "high risk incidents."
After searching the house, officers determined the suspects had already exited the house before their arrival. Police said they remain at large, but are not considered a threat to the community.
Police asked anyone with information about this incident to call them at 603-382-1200.
