UPDATE (10 a.m.): New Hampshire Department of Transportation announced the crash had been cleared and affected lanes re-opened.

The area of Spaulding Turnpike near Exit 9 in Dover was reduced in open northbound lanes due to a motor-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning, according to the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.

New Hampshire State Police confirmed that the left lane was indeed closed due to a crash near mile-marker 13 of Route 16.

Freezing rain, snow, sleet and ice in the area has caused a slew of traffic delays and closures on the Seacoast and beyond. For more information, click this link.
