Cops Narrow Down Time When Harmony Montgomery Was Last Seen

Investigators have narrowed down the time when 7-year-old Harmony Montgomery was last seen at her Manchester home, as her stepmother entered a not guilty plea to welfare fraud charges.

Attorney General John M. Formella said that the girl was last seen between approximately November 28 and December 10, 2019 after her father Adam Montgomery, stepmother Kayla Montgomery, their two common children and Harmony were evicted from their home at 77 Guilford Street in Manchester. Police conducted a search of the property at the beginning of January.

Several witnesses have reported seeing Adam and Kayla Montgomery living out of their cars possibly in Manchester's North End, with only their two children between Dec. 6 and Dec. 10. One of the cars was a dark blue 2006 Audi S4 and the other a silver 2010 Chrysler Sebring with a license plate askew.

Formella asked anyone who may have seen or interacted with Adam Montgomery, Kayla Montgomery, or the children during the time frame or who saw either of the vehicles in question during that time to call the dedicated Manchester Police phone line set up to receive tips 24/7, 603-203-6060.

DA: Kayla Montgomery a Flight Risk

Kayla Montgomery was arraigned on welfare fraud charges on Monday and was called a flight risk by state Assistant District Attorney Jesse O’Neill, according to CBS Boston coverage of the hearing. O'Neill said that Montgomery knows that the charges against her are about to get more serious than fraud.

Her lawyer, Paul Garrity, asked for her release to a rehabilitation program in Nashua according to CBS Boston. The judge did not make a ruling.
