Harmony Montgomery’s Stepmother Faces Weapons Charges
The current wife of Harmony Montgomery's father was arrested on two charges related to the theft of firearms in 2019.
Attorney General John M. Formella said Kayla Montgomery, 31, faces two charges of receiving stolen property related to a theft of firearms that occurred around September and October of 2019 in Manchester. Adam Montgomery was charged on April 4 with stealing a rifle and a shotgun in the same time period.
Both Kayla and Adam Montgomery are currently being held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections.
Formella said there is no evidence of a connection between the stolen firearms and the disappearance of Harmony Montgomery. The now 7-year-old has been missing since October 2019, but police were only made aware in late December 2021.
The search for Harmony is ongoing, with a $150,000 reward being offered for information leading to her whereabouts.
Harmony Montgomery is described as approximately 4 feet and 50 pounds with blonde hair, blue eyes, and glasses. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call a special number that is manned 24/7: 603-203-6060.
