Police Investigate ‘Suspicious Death’ Near Mall of New Hampshire
An investigation is underway into a suspicious death at the Mall of New Hampshire on Saturday afternoon.
Attorney General John Formella said one person is dead at the mall on South Willow Street, but did not disclose details. Manchester Police sent an alert about police activity at the mall around 3:40 p.m. and asked people to avoid the mall area.
WHDH TV reported a shooting took place on the mall property, and that police were looking for a suspect. Boston 25 News reported yellow tape has sealed off the mall's parking lot between TGI Friday's and across from Dave & Busters.
Journalist Jeffrey Hastings reported via Patch the incident may have stemmed from a road rage incident between a tractor trailer and SUV while in traffic on South Willow Street. A comment to the Rockingham Alert Facebook page said the driver of the tractor trailer was shot and left in front of the truck while the gunman drove off.
This is a breaking story. Check back for additional details.
